and another question. How old do you think this siren is?

Re: at last! my
... And here is the painted rotor! It was very difficult to paint it because of its special coating ... I used 3 spray cans!
To the stator now.
... I rubbed out and primed the parts that the paint had gone off
And finally painted it

Wow you do a good job!
Re: at last! my
... And here's the final project!
Re: at last! my
...and the siren finished!
I want to install the siren on a base, and then I will put on the roof permanently.
Thanks,
Orestis

Re: at last! my
That's for sure! Imagine the siren dancing!
@Siggi, when you tested your did you use wheels with brakes, or you disconnected the wheels and placed the siren on the floor?
I mean even if the wheels have brake, I think a rotation around the wheel axle is bossible, or not?
Anyway I'm trying to find a way to connect my ... In the house I have 3phase alt. current 380 V, but I have to connect the contactor to the central switch board... And that's not easy... What did you do?

Re: at last! my
I have some experience with a dancing , so I put it on the floor and tried again!
I installed my selfmade contactor box between the siren and the socket of the cooker (In Germany it is usually 400V!)
I can make a screenshot of my video that you can see the installation if you want. I'd send it via e-mail.

Oh, Thanks! I think that will help. Hmmm... I must check immediatelly the cooker's socket!
Re: at last! my
Hi!
This is what I bought in order to operate my ... It has got 3 fuses, a thermical element and a switch... Is that called a contactor? (Actually it is a motor starter) The seller told me exactly how I should connect it to the motor...
... what do you think?
