Sirenen in Agia Napa, Zypern

Tata... ich bin wieder da !

Das ich die letzten Tage so wenig (im Sinne von richtig wenig) schrieb lag daran, daß ich anläßlich meines Urlaubs nach Zypern floh.
Doch auch dort ist man nicht sicher - vor Hörmann, wie es mir scheint. 3 Exemplare in Agia Napa, und in der nächsten größeren besuchten Stadt Larnaka sah ein Teil auch so aus. Damit Ihr auch was davon habt, hier exemplarisch der 16-Ender von der City Hall.

Haven't seen anything resembling a carter or another kind of siren, only those ice cone types. Neither in the tourist zone agia napa nor in the troodos mountains.

Now at least we have photos of the typical Hörmann installation. :)
(Any more photos wanted ? Will jemand mehr Photos von diesem und einem weiteren Exemplar? )

A sponsor for future siren research in cyprus would be welcome, i liked it there...

I'm not a big fun of electronic sirens, although they do have some serious advantages (voice capability, backup & solar options etc) but if there are pics that you would like to share, I'm sure that they would interest the forum. Any close-up maybe? There is a tag on the siren base.
